Tinnitus

Tinnitus has been in the press lately as more and more people seem to suffer from it.

The causes can be very diverse, and can range from the side effects of some medication (anti-inflammatories, antidepressants….), the aftermath of an ear infection or a bad cold, but exposure to loud noises, music or magnetic exposure from mobile phones or wi-fi cannot help either.

Nutrition wise, taking the supplement Gingko Biloba in either tincture form or concentrated capsules has been shown to improve symptoms as this herbal remedy is a vasodilator and therefore increases microcirculation systemically.  Vitamin B12 and magnesium are also linked to improvement of symptoms.   So does reflexology!! Boosting circulation through the blood vessels, lymphatic system, and cerebrospinal fluid is another way to tackle the problem and it can sometimes just disappear after a few treatments only.
